Another Successful Compliance Summit!

Oct 17, 2024

We just finished our FIFTH Compliance Summit! We extensively discussed HOTMA and other industry updates. Still, perhaps more importantly, we discussed practical strategies for coping with all the changes and how our place as compliance professionals in the industry is adjusting significantly. Overcoming emotional barriers to change is a real issue!

Almost 200 attended, either in person or virtually. We appreciate every attendee!

We are grateful for our presenters and panelists (in alphabetical order) Missy Covington, Christine Bennet-Martin, Jen Brewerton, Wes Daniel, Amanda Lee Gross, Steven James, Gary Kirkman, Gina Metzger, Stephanie Naquin, Scott Precourt, and Grace Robertson. We also appreciated the insightful comments of Robert Easterling, Robin Thorne, and countless others!

The below picture was posted by a Summit attendee on LinkedIn. It could be the theme picture of the Summit!

The Summit Workbook contained a copy of our new HOTMA Audit Toolkit. It is chock-full of worksheets, charts, graphs, and checklists of all things HOTMA-related, designed to assist audit professionals. This tool was very well received!

There is a very good chance that the topic of this post is covered in an online on-demand course at Costello University.
